Betsy is a sophisticated woman. She likes to put rouge on her cheeks. She loves coffee and good books. She can be mean sometimes, but only if she's bored. She does not like to work.

Betsy likes to stand on balconies, patios, at the pier. She then looks at the horizon, thinks her thoughts, wrinkles her forehead. At times she gets melancholic. At times she takes up an idea not thought to the end from an old philosopher. These, especially, are the moments she does not like to talk.
